The Crying Spell is an American electronic rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 2006 by vocalist Len Hotrum, guitarist Eric Snyder, drummer Chase Culp, and bassist Johnny Bacolas. The band calls their modern new wave sound "Modwave".
