The past 3 years have been somewhat of a whirlwind for The Bastard Sons. Formed in late 2011 and signed to Lockjaw Records after only a handful of shows, the band released their debut EP ‘Bones’ in August 2012. By the end of 2013 The Bastard Sons had completed their first UK tour and had played a slot at Bloodstock 2013. Early 2014 saw the band embark on their first US tour and play two slots at Hammerfest VI. To coincide with this, their 2nd EP ‘Roads’ was released worldwide via Kaiju Records to many positive reviews.
Early 2015 saw their new single, ‘Release The Hounds’ reach number 1 in the iTunes Metal Charts, with the video for the track also featured on Scuzz TV & Kerrang! TV, the band completed an 11 date UK tour with California legends Snot. Following many rave reviews, 7th August 2015 saw the release of the debut album ‘Smoke’, released worldwide via Kaiju Records. Smoke made its debut at number 2 in the iTunes Metal Album Charts and in the top 20 of the iTunes Rock Album Charts.
